I am so happy it is Spring.

This winter was one of the hardest I can remember in my adult life.

Sometimes I feel like I have been ‘routed’ – meaning stripped clean.

Difficult times seem to do this.

Not pleasant, but clarifying.

Serious illnesses among close loved ones and the long end of life process for our little dog challenged me beyond words to remain fully present to my life and business.

These events helped me to see more clearly what is most important in my personal life AND business.

I see more clearly my patterns of wasting time.

And I recognize the JOY I experience when I can engage my business and personal relationships fully – all present, body, speech and mind.

To lay the ground for more of this, I want to learn more about my body and how to ‘be in’ it.

It seems the body is where a more reliable clearer knowledge lies.

There is so much to my body when I slow down and really listen to it. It is pure joy to do this.

I would like to invite you to explore this with me.  Together, let’s see –

  • How can the body be an anchor in times of turbulence and change and in good times too?
  • How can the body and breath be trusted reliable guides in a very unreliable and changing world?
  • How is it possible to bring ‘body awareness’ into daily life and work?

Join me Saturday May 31st from 10 am to 2:30 pm in Durham, NC.

Using gentle Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga, visualization, awareness of breath and experiential exercises we will explore together what does it mean to ‘be in’ the body and to listen to and access its knowledge?
